About Us

Purple Kind is a Salford-grown social enterprise that empowers adults with learning disabilities, special needs, and mobility challenges to lead more connected, confident, and independent lives. We foster a supportive, inclusive environment where individuals plan their own journeys of discovery through community engagement, skill development, health-focused learning, and meaningful relationships.

Our Vision

We envision a Salford where every adult with additional needs feels valued, included, and empowered to reach their full potential. A community where barriers are dismantled, opportunities are accessible to all, and individuals can confidently navigate their lives, contribute their unique talents, and enjoy a rich quality of life. We strive to be a leading example of community-driven support, fostering a network of kindness, understanding, and practical assistance that extends to individuals, their families, and the wider community.
